Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, July 10, 1986

SARANAC- Gladys Thompson, 79, of Ionia Manor died at the Manor early 
Wednesday morning.

She was born in Ionia Oct. 6, 1907, the daughter of Frank and Fannie Mitchel 
Greenhoe.

She is survived by one son, James Thompson of Portland; two daughters, 
Margaret Burley and Mary Lou Goings, both of Lansing; 13 grandchildren; five 
great grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Wittenbach of Lowell. another 
sister, Beatrice Benjamin, preceded her in death. 

Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. from the Lake Funeral Home, 
Saranac, with the Rev. James Frank of Galilee Baptist Church officiating. 

Burial will be in Tuttle Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home 2 to 3 p.m. Friday.
