Mrs. Lena Thompson Passed Away

Mrs. Lena S. Thompson was born in Illinois Feb. 4, 1878 and died at the Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital Sunday evening, Feb. 28, 1965, following bone surgery 
more than a week ago for a fractured hip.

Mrs. Thompson had lived in Lansing many years before moving with her daughter 
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Rhoades in Breezy Point, Morrison Lake, 
near Clarksville. 

A Coronation service was held at the Clarksville Wesleyan Methodist Church 
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Royal S. Woodhead of Lansing. 
Officiating. Interment was in the Clarksville Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her daughter; Evelyn Rhoades, two grandsons, Ted 
and Jas. and several great grandchildren all of Clarksville.
