The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 27, 1946
Funeral services for Mary E. Thompson, who died Saturday afternoon at her 
home, 426 East Lincoln avenue, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Stone 
funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Davis officiating.  Interment was at Highland 
Park cemetery.

Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Charles VanReenen and Mrs. Paul Coy.  Bearers 
were Oliver Hartman, Lester McVicker, Herbert Young and Edward Coon.

Attending from away were Dr. and Mrs. J. L. Rogers and Johnnie and Misses 
Barbara and Sue Rogers of Big Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Young and daughter, 
Elizabeth, of Grand Rapids; and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Coon of Mason.
