The Lowell Ledger, Thursday, June 3, 1915


Mrs. Frank Thompson died May 29 at her home in Keene township, after a long 
illness, aged 48 years.  Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at one 
p.m., and at the Methodist church in Lowell at 2 o’clock; burial in Oakwood 
cemetery, Rev. I. T. Weldon officiating.

Alice, wife of Frank Thompson was born in Cascade April 1867 and lived there 
until 20 years of age.  The remainder of her life was spent in Lowell and 
vicinity.  She leaves her husband and daughter Mary to mourn their loss.

Relatives and friends from a distance attending the funeral were: Mrs. Lottie 
Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Guy C. Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. 
J. W. Johnson, Mrs. Charles Robinson and daughter Ethel, Mrs. Linemeyer and 
daughter Iva, Miss Grace Reail, Mrs. Norton and son Tom, all of Grand Rapids; 
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chorley and family and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Shores of Lake 
Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Will Coville and family of Casnovia, Robert Thompson of 
Plainwell, Mr. and Mrs. Will Thompson of Belding, and Mr. and Mrs. F. Whelock 
and family of Saranac.
