Spring Hill, Fl- Jean Elizabeth Thomson, age 78, of Spring Hill, Florida, went to be

with her Lord Tuesday, January 18, 2005, in Hernando-Pasco Hospice of Brooksville, 
Florida. 

Jean was born November 11, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY. 

She moved to Florida from New York in 1959.

Over the years, Jean was a flight attendant for TWA and owned multiple business. She

owned and operated a ceramics shop, in Largo, Florida, and was an avid artist. She 
worked extensively in the art field doing stained glass for churches, sculpting for

Honeywell and canvases for General Electric.

At the age of 63, she traveled to the Dominican Republic as a missionary for 
Worldwide Christian Schools where she taught English and job trades.

Preceding Jean in death were her husband, Colin Thomson; her parents, Morgan and 
Catherine Hobby; and her son, Kurt S. Thomson. 

Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy (Paul) Rowe, Spring Hill, Florida and 
Cindy (John) Waite, Lake Odessa; her daughter-in-law, Margo Thomson, Spring Hill, 
Florida; a sister, Shirley Horner, Mount Laurel, New Jersey; eight grandchildren; 
and 11 great grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 
Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa, and is open to family and friends.
