The Portland Observer, Wednesday, September 27, 1905
The remains of John Thornburg were brought to this station last Tuesday on the 
noon train and taken to Danby, his former home, for burial.  The remains were 
met by a large number of friends.  Deceased passed away at Belding from 
inflammation of bowels and was 60 years of age.
