Thornton, aged 76, passed away Tuesday noon at the home of his son, William H. Thornton, on the Dell Place farm at Prairie Creek. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George E. Hamilton, 525 North Jackson street. Rev. R. E. Meader will officiate, and the interment will be in the family lot at the Belding cemetery. Mr. Thornton is survived by the following children: William H. Thornton, Prairie Creek, Melvin Thornton, North State road, Mrs. Emily Holliday, Smyrna, Ed. Thornton, Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Cora B. Hamilton, 525 North Jackson St., and Mrs. Hattie Coon, Barryton. Subsequent Publication: Saturday, October 25, 1919 The funeral for William G. Thornton was held on Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Geo. Hamilton, 525 North Jackson street. Rev. R. E. Meader had charge of the services and the interment was in the family lot Belding . The bearers were J. E. Hamilton, Dell Hamilton, Clark Holliday and Milo, Ora and Lester Thornton.
