The Ionia County News, Thursday, November 4, 1926

Mrs. Milissa Thorpe, 74, well known resident of this city—formerly of Easton 
township and Saranac, died at the home of her son, Glenn Thorpe, 106 Lincoln 
avenue, last Friday, as the result of a stroke.  The funeral was held on 
Sunday afternoon, with Rev. W. F. Kendrick, pastor of the Methodist church, in 
charge.  Interment was made in Easton cemetery.  She is survived by one son, 
five sisters and one brother.
