             MRS. E.S. THORPE DIED IN OWOSSO AT SON'S HOME

Emma S. Thorpe, (Mrs. George Thorpe), a native of Newark, N. J.  died at the 
home of her son, Frank Crandall in Owosso, MI. 

Emma Thorpe was married to Adelbert Crandall in 1869. After moving to Ionia, 
he passed away in 1905 She then moved to Sunfield, marrying Mr. George 
Thorpe in 1907. She later relocated to Middleville, where she joined the 
Methodist Reformed Church.

Survivors are: son, Frank Crandall of Owosso, son, Warren A. Crandall of 
Grand Rapids, daughter, Mrs. Lettie Swift of Detroit, daughter, Mrs. Pearl 
Grosscup of Rochester, New York, daughter, Mrs. W. S. Baker
Funeral will take place at the Jennings-Lyons chapel in Owosso on Monday, 
March 25th at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Thorpe was 81 years of age.
Services: Monday, 25 March 1935
