Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. March 1, 1962

Former Resident Buried Saturday
Mrs. Fannie Throp 79, was buried last Saturday in Lakeside cemetery. She had been
born in Sebewa township and was a long time resident before moving to Sunfield and nine
years ago to the home of a daughter Mrs. C. J. Rafeld of Ann Arbor.

Mrs. Throp died Wednesday evening at her daughters home. The arrangements for burial
were made by Mapes funeral Home of Sunfield.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. C. J. Rafeld of Ann Arbor, Mrs. John Baker of
Lansing; a son, Eugene Thorp of Lapeer, and eight grandchildren.
