Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Feb 1974

Ray Thuma, 88, of Bippley road, Sunfield, died Thursday night at a Hastings 
nursing home.  He was born October 6, 1885, at Pewamo the son of Samuel and 
Ella Benjamin Thuma.  He was a long time Sunfield area farmer and member of 
Sunfield United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Wilson of Portland; son, Clyde Thuma of 
Sunfield; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mapes-Fisher funeral home at 
Sunfield.  Interment will be at East Sebewa cemetery.
