Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 17 Jan 1998

Fred R. Thwaites, 77, of Ionia passed away January 9, 1998.  Surviving are wife
Mary; three daughters; Kathy (Roger) Burns of Grand Rapids, Marsha (James) Olsen
of Ionia, Chrisanne (Chuck) Smith of Ionia; one son, Fritz (Christine) Thwaites
of Ionia; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; two sisters: Helen Owens of
Indiana, Virginia Robert of Ionia, several nieces and nephews.  Funeral mass was
held January 14.  Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Arrangements by Cook
Funeral Home in Ionia.
