Mr. Tift was sixty-three years, seven months and ten days old and has resided in this city for a number of years. He had been a great sufferer from asthma which was the cause of his death. Mr. Tift leaves a wife and two children, Mrs. Roy Inscho, a daughter, who resides in this city, and Delbert Tift, a son, who lives at home. The funeral was held at the late home on Wednesday, and the remains were laid to rest in the Belding cemetery. Rev. J. B. Griswold of the Free Methodist church conducted the services.
