Ionia Weekly Standard, 14 May 1904

William H. Tillotson, who suffered a severe stroke of paralysis on Tuesday
evening, died at 8:27 o’clock on Friday evening, sleeping painlessly to his
eternal rest for the 24 hours preceding the end.  There was a prayer service at
the home where he died – John Gardner’s on Division street, at 9 o’clock on
Sunday morning, and the funeral service was conducted at the home of his
daughter, in Otisco township, at 2 p.m.  Interment in Belding cemetery.
