Tillotson, 76, died January 14 at Belding Community Hospital. His home was at 6491 Palmer Road. Mr. Tillotson was born in Otisco Township, September 17, 1885. He had been a truck driver and worked for the highway department. He was married to Susan Kohn who died in 1907. There is a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Stokes of Houston, Texas and one son, Ray Tillotson of Grand Rapids, six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Seventeen years ago he married Amelia Gebo and she died December 17, 1961. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Huffman Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Rebentisch officiating and the burial was in River Ridge cemetery. Another Publication: The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 16, 1962 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Belding for Ray E. Tillotson, 76, of 5491 Palmer road, Belding, who died in Belding Community hospital Sunday. Burial was at River Ridge cemetery. A retired trucker and state highway department employee, Mr. Tillotson was born in Otisco township. He had lived in Belding since 1945.
