When she was two years of age the family moved to Canton, Wayne county, Michigan. At the age of 21 years she was married in Ypsilanti to Thomas Timlin. They lived on a farm near Mt. Clemens for some time then purchased and moved on a farm about three miles east of Hubbardston. She was the mother of 11 children, six of whom survive her: Barney of Denver Colorado; Ed., of Detroit; Richard of Wixom, Mich.; Mrs. Loretta Stoddard, Will and Ella of Hubbardston, Mich. After the death of her husband she returned to Ypsilanti and lived 11 years at her father's home and then moved again to her farm near Hubbardston. Their farm home burned about 18 years ago and she then purchased and moved to her present home in Hubbardston. She suffered a severe stroke of paralysis a few days before her death and never fully regained speech or consciousness. She died Saturday night and the funeral was held March 3 at the St. John's Catholic church. Her children all arrived here before her death occurred and many friends and relatives came from away to attend the burial services, among the number being the following; Barney Timlin of Colorado, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Timlin, Daniel Williams, Thomas McCale, Mrs. Plunkett, Ford Stoddard and Miss Anna Herns, all of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Timlin of Wixom, Miss Leora Stoddard of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sullivan of Collins.
