He was on his way home from the business section and was walking in the street when two cars approached from opposite directions. He is thought to have observed the approach of one and stepped out of its path but into the path of the other. The one car struck him hurling him under the wheels of the second. One wheel passed across his body, another across his head. He sustained skull and rib fractures and internal injuries. He was rushed after the accident to the home of his brother, B. J. Timlin, at Hubbardston, where he remained in an unconscious condition up to the time of his death. Funeral services were held from the son’s home this morning. He is survived by two brothers, Richard and B. J. Timlin and two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Stoddard and Mrs. Ella Pack.
