Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Samuel W. Tindall, 72, of Saranac, passed away at his home Dec. 11, 2002.

He was born Dec. 25, 1929 in Van duser, Mo., the son of Narvel A. and Nancy 
(Wilson) Tindall.  He married Connie La Fredo 1954 in Angola, Ind.  Samuel was 
a veteran of the Korean War.  He was a charter member of the American Legion in 
Flint.

He is survived by his loving wife Connie Tindall of Saranac; daughter, Janis 
(Clair) French of Saranac; son, Timothy Tindall of Ionia; brothers, Ruby 
(Nancy) Tindall of Illinois, Auburn (Judy) Tindall of St. Louis, Mo., and Jerry 
Tindall of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Laurie (Jason) Binkley of North 
Carolina and Kylie.  He was preceded in death by a son, one grandson and two 
sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac with Rev. Tom Reaume officiating.
