Shari Tindall, 51, of Saranac passed away April 24, 2010, in Muskegon. She was 
born Dec. 17, 1958, in Ionia, the daughter of Earl and Margaret (Tuinstra) 
Beattie. Shari graduated from Saranac High School class of 1976. She graduated 
from Oakland University where she received her BA in Elementary education and 
attended MSU for her Masters. She taught at Saranac Community Schools for many 
years until retiring in 2009 due to her health.

Shari married Tim Tindall April 5, 2003, at Easton United Methodist Church. She 
was a member of Easton Church, and she was able to help re-establish the Sunday 
School Program there.

Shari is survived by her loving husband, Tim Tindall of Saranac; daughter, 
Carol (James) Moskowitz of Ionia; parents, Earl and Margaret Beattie of 
Saranac; brother, Steven (Sue) Beattie of St. Louis, Michigan; mother in law, 
Connie Tindall of Saranac; sister in  law, Jan 9Clare) French of Saranac and 
nieces, Nikki and Tori Beattie, Laurie Hinkley and Kylie French. 

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Sam Tindall, and her 
grandparents.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Easton United Methodist 
Church with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and relatives from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. 
Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made in 
Shari’s name to Easton Church Sunday School or Family Choice. Online
