Sidney and Reuben Tingley are brothers, the latter family leaving Ionia for Flint six years ago. The accident occurred Saturday evening when the father started a fire in a stove in a room adjoining that where William was asleep. The boy’s death was caused by the extreme heat, firemen having removed him from the house before the fire reached him. A brother, Kenneth Leroy, two years old, was sleeping in the same room, and is in critical condition at a Flint hospital. Besides the father and mother, and Kenneth Leroy, two other brothers, Harley, six and Frank, four, survive. The funeral services will be in charge of Rev. H. G. Hurrell and burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
