The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, November 3, 1954

Harry Tingley, 76, of 2327 East Riverside Drive died Tuesday at noon at the 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since last Friday.

He was born in Palo, September 4, 1878, the son of Henry and Azelia Tingley.  
He had been a farmer in Ionia county all of his life until moving to his 
present home six years ago.

Surviving are one son, Robert, of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Houghton 
of Orleans, Mrs. Della Bradley of Ionia and Mrs. Ann Tucker of Portland, and 
two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Boynton 
funeral home with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.  Interment will be in 
the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
