Cadillac Evening News - 19 April 1993
Neva Thelma Tingley of Saranac died at her residence Saturday, April 17, 1993 
after a short illness.  She was 74.  She was born Jan. 9, 1919 in Ionia to Dey 
Elton and Nine Grace (Adams) Holcomb.  She married Gerald Tingley in Ionia March 
22, 941 in Alexandria, La.  Mrs. Tingley graduated from Ionia High School and 
attended the First Baptist Church of Ionia.

She is survived by:  Her husband, Gerald of Ionia; one daughter, Pamela (Mrs. 
Michael) Sigafoose of Saranac; one son, William Gerald Tingley and family of 
Stanwood; one sister, Beulah Leland of Orleans; one brother-in-law, Harold 
Tingley of Ionia and five grandchildren, Tracy, Troy, Brandei, Blaine and Brad.  
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Funeral services are 1 pm Tuesday at the Galilee Baptist Church in Saranac, 
Paster Don Mathis and Gerald Hayworth officiating.  Burial will be in the Balcom 
cemetery in Ionia.  Visitation is 2-4 pm and 7-8:30 pm today at the Lake Funeral 
Home in Saranac.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon Ministries.
