Ora Tingley, Jr., age 88, of Belding, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015.  He
was born on Aug. 5, 1926, in Orleans Township, the son of Ora L. and Martha L.
(Adrian) Tingley.

Mr. Tingley retired from Electrolux after 44 years of service, was a farmer, and
also worked various other part-time jobs.  Ora enjoyed working on tractors,
baking, camping, boating and traveling.  He loved family gatherings, especially
Christmas.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Ada Ann Tingley; daughter, Sharon
Taylor; sons, Gerald Lee Tingley, Dennis Tingley and Duanne Tingley; step son,
Steven Johnson; brother, Vernon Tingley; sisters, Marion Mier, Clarabelle Eddy,
Helen Cameron, and Virginia Lamphere.  

Surviving are his son, Kenneth (Vickie) Tingley; step-children, Robert (friend,
Naomi Baxter), Johnson and Karen Johnson; grandchildren, Matt, Kenny, Keith,
Corey, Amber, Kristina and Kathy; several step grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Ladner, Betty Odett, and Gladys Heald;
brothers, Marvin Wood, Lemuel Tingley, and Robert (Marge) Tingley; several
nieces and nephews.  

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Shiloh
Community Church, Orleans, with Pastor Kenneth Harger presiding.  Interment will
follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  The family will receive friends
from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich St., Ionia.  In
Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia County
Commission Meals on Wheels, or to Shiloh Community Church, in memory of Mr.
Tingley.
