Former Local Barber Dies While On Visit.

Word was received Wednesday morning from relatives in Akron, Ohio, that Jed E.
Tinkler, a former barber in this city, had passed away while making a visit to
the home of his daughter who resides in Akron.  The body will arrive here
Thursday and funeral services will be held from the Fitzjohn funeral home Friday
afternoon at 2 o’clock and burial will be in the mausoleum in River Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Tinkler was with her husband at the time of his death.  His health was
failing at the time the family moved to Grand Rapids from this city several
years ago.  Mrs. Don MacKercher was also a daughter of the deceased and resides
in Grand Rapids.
