The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, date unknown
Hillis L. Tischer, 90, of Saranac passed away at Heartland Health Care in 
Ionia August 25, 2003.  He was born June 25, 1913 in Lake Odessa.  He married 
Vivian Tower in 1930, who preceded him in death in 1995.

He was a Navy veteran of WWII.  He is survived by one brother-in-law, Ben 
(Judy)Tower of Saranac and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial services at his 
request.
