Lake Odessa Wave - April 26, 1962
          CLARE F. TISHER 63 BURIED ON THURSDAY
   Funeral services were held on Thursday at 1:30 at the Osgood Funeral Home, St.
Johns, for Clair F. Tischer 
63, with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.  He was a resident of the local
area for many years and 
also of Clinton county before going to the West Coast in 1950.  He lived at Olympia,
Washington at the time of 
his death.
   Surviving are his wife Hazel, two sons Daniel and David both of Washington, two
stepsons, Kenneth Kimmel 
of Lansing and Arden Kimmel of Indiana; one stepdaughter Mrs. Blanche Shellhorn of
Grand Junction; three 
sisters, Audrey Tischer, Ruth Tischer, and Mrs. Della Engle of Grand  Rapids; five
brothers, Charles of 
Mulliken, Ira of Sunfield, Glenn, Ernest and George all of Grand Rapids and four
grandchildren.
   His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tisher who lived north west of Lake Odessa.
