Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. July 21, 1955

JAMES TITUS DIED SUNDAY
James Titus, 12 year old son of Mrs. Essalie Titus, passed away early Sunday morning
at St. Mary's hospital, Grand Rapids where he had been a patient since Wednesday. He
suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and several after admittance to the hospital.

Jimmy was a member of the Grace Brethren church and Junior BYF, and would have been
a seventh grade student this fall.

Surviving besides his mother is his father, Theodore Titus, a brother, Teddy, a
sister, Barbara and two grand mothers,Mrs. Lettie Hulliberger and Mrs. Frances Titus of 
Kalamazoo.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 at the local Methodist church with burial in
lakeside cemetery. Rev. Robert Griffith officiated.
