Although in poor health, Mr. Todd had been up and about the house most of the time. He was born in Ireland 76 years ago. In the year 1903 he and his wife and his son Richard came to American and at that time located in Montana. Mrs. Todd died there. Twenty years ago Mr. Todd and Richard came to Ionia to make their home. Besides the son Richard, there are seven other children: Mrs. James Hogan, also of Ionia; Bridget, of Oregon; Mrs. Catherine Rutan and James and John, of Montana, and Julia and Marian, who still live in Ireland. Mr. Todd held membership in the Holy Name society and the SS. Peter and Paul church and the funeral services will be held from the latter Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock. Burial will be made in Mt.
