Sentinel-Std.- Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1957

Funeral services for John R. Todd, 65, long time resident and businessman of 
Ionia, were conducted by the Rev. Adam J. Westmaas of Detroit Tuesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church. Mr. Todd died 
Saturday.

Honorary bearers were Earl Scheid of Saranac, Arnott Sime of Caro, Dr. L. J. 
Thomson Nels Strand, Leo McAlary and Gordon Walker of Bad Axe. 

Acting bearers were Edward Peterson, G D. Rountree, Marvin Nelson, Abe 
Snyder, Ray Badder and Willis Brooks.

Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Clair Ross, Mrs. Richard Dukelow Sr., 
Mrs. Frank Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Todd A. Ross, Richard 
Dukelow Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Armstrong, Mrs. James Todd, Mrs. Arthur 
Hogan, Charles Todd, Gordon Walker, Mrs. Gertrude Morgan and Robert Fillion 
of Bad Axe; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Toner and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Toner of 
Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Toner of Port Huron, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bell, 
Miss Irma Helmich, Mrs. Frank Curry, Mrs. Arthur Armbruster, Lawrence 
Hoffmeister, Ted Schmidt and Oscar Graff of Unionville; Mr. and Mrs. G. B. 
Metzgar of Flint; Arnot Sime of Caro; Robert Todd, Warren Todd and Mrs.
