Portland Review - Sunday, June 22, 2003

Merle A. Todd, 63, of Portland, passed away June 10, 2003.

She was born in Portland Oct. 5, 1939 the daughter of Basil and Winifred 
(Davis) Lowry. She married James Todd on Feb. 21, 1959 in Portland. She 
worked in the Lansing area for 25 years as an office manager.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, James; daughters, Mary (Al) Bullock 
of Bartlett, Ill, and Annie Todd of Montclair, J.J.; sisters, Martha 
Henderson of San Diego, Calif; cousin, Dan (Nancy( Smith of South Dakota. 

A memorial service was conducted June 20 by the Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson. 
Pastor at the First Congregational Church of Portland.
