IONIA - Leota H. Todd, 87, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ionia, died Tuesday at a 
Grand Rapids nursing home

Born July 17,1899, in Unionville, the daughter of Ferdinand and Maria Boes 
Layer. She was married to John R. Todd Dec. 28, 1921 and they moved to Ionia 
from Unionville in 1928. He Died Dec. 7, 1957.

A founding member of the Ionia High School Band Boosters, she was active in the 
Mother's Study Club, the PTA and Blue Star Mothers.

She was a member of the First  Presbyterian Church of Ionia.

Surviving are a daughter; three sons; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 
a sister and a brother.

Arrangements by Rich Street Chapel of Montgomery Funeral Home. Burial in Balcom 
Cemetery.
