Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Feb 1948

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Beattie funeral
home at Clarksville for James M. Todd, 75, who died Saturday of a heart attack
at the home of his brother, Lewis Todd, Campbell township supervisor.  He was a
lifelong resident of Clarksville, a member of the IOOF lodge and served as
assessor for the village of Clarksville.

Surviving are two brothers, Nathaniel and Lewis, both of Clarksville.  Burial
was at the Clarksville cemetery.
