The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 21, 1942
Funeral services for Norman Toleson, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Toleson, of 
Orleans, who died as he was admitted to Blodgett hospital, as the result of an 
automobile-truck collision on M-66 at the Long Lake intersection early Monday 
evening, were held Thursday at 1 o’clock from the Myers funeral home.

Rev. A. R. Kuehn of the Zion Evangelical church officiated and burial was in 
the family lot at Oak Hill cemetery.  Pall bearers were Keith Harrison, Hoyt 
Christenson, Dean Selleck, Leland Wilson, Milbert White, David Woolston and 
LaVern Sanders.
