Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Feb. 14, 1953

Kenneth Tombs, 39, of North Jackson street, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids.

He had been in ill health for a number of years. He was born August 30. 1913 in 
Ionia and has been a life long resident here. He attended Ionia schools.

Surviving is his wife Elinore and two sons James and Gerald, both at home; and 
a half brother Aronly Tomlinson of Lansing. 

Funeral services are to be conducted Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the SS. Peter 
and Paul church. Rosary is to be said Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the 
Myers funeral home. Interment will be at the Balcom cemetery.
