Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

SHARON ELIZABETH TOMPSETT

Died Thursday March 19, 2026-age 90 of Trufant at Lakeview Terrace Assisted 
Living under the care of Corewell Health Hospice.
Born July 17, 1935, in Lyons, MI, daughter of Fred L. & Elizabeth Eleanor 
(Griffiths) Clements.
Graduated from Belding High School in 1952, Briefly worked at Jolly Kids Garment 
Factory & later out of the home at JC Penney in Greenville.
Married Paul Willard Tompsett on November 6, 1953 in Belding, MI., enjoying 
almost 65 years of marriage and raised four children.
Sharon was a talented artist that were displayed in painted pictures, ceramics, 
& Christmas Ornaments.
She was also a skilled quilter & enjoyed antiquing at estate sales & flea 
markets.
She go to experience seeing & feeding giraffes at Boulder Ridge Animal Park.
She treasured time with her children & grandchildren & great- grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; two brothers, Robert & Faye 
Clements & Roger & Yvonne Clements; her brother-in-law, Raymond & Margaret 
Tompsett; three sister-in-law, Dorothy & Jack Rowland, Margaret & Clare Wilson, 
& Charlotte & Lewis Peck; two nieces, Linda Clements & Jody Clements.

Surviving are her 4 children, Sherry & Rodney Snyder of Stanton, David & Nancy 
Tompsett of Roscommon, Patricia & Chris Ehlert of Stanton, and Jeff & Julie 
Tompsett of Trufant; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren- with the 23rd due 
in April; a brother, Phillip & Shirley Clements;& several nieces & nephews.

Committal services will be held at Trufant Cemetery in the Spring.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & 
Funeral Care, Greenville, MI.
