Mr. Tooley was for a number of years a resident of this city and was employed in local factories. About 15 years ago he went out on the farm and has resided there ever since. He was a splendid type of citizen and a man who in his quiet and unassuming ways made many friends who held him in high esteem and who will regret to learn of his death. Surviving are the widow and two sons, George, of Lansing, and Bert, of Chadwick. The funeral will be held on Friday with Rev. H. S. Ellis, of the Congregational church officiating. Services will be at nine o’clock from the Fales funeral home and the body will be taken to Howell for burial.
