The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, November 8, 1968
A Matherton resident, Mrs. Nora Frances Topper, 83, died Wednesday at Posen, 
Ill. Where she had lived the past two years with her daughter, Mrs. Mildred 
Larson.  She was born January 10, 1885 in Matherton.

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Larson, Vesta Gwinn of Denver, Colo., Mrs. 
Thelm Brown of Blue Island, Ill., Mrs. Frances Bugbee of Canton, Ohio three 
sons, Thomas of Lansing, Starr of Maple Rapids and Lee of Fowler; one sister, 
Mrs, Myrl Rock of Matherton; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at United Brethren church at Matherton Saturday at 2 
p.m.   Rev. Norman Weibert will officiate and burial will be at East Plains 
cemetery.  Family will be at Estep funeral home north of Muir Friday evening.  
Bearers are Clare Myers, William Silvernail, Richard Fenn, Clyde Norton, Roy 
Finch and Harvey Loveirn.
