Anson Torpy Dies In Ionia, May 22

Anson Torpy was born in 1859 and lived in Sunfield most of his life.    He 
joined the Baptist church in 1884.  For the last few years he lived with his 
sister Emma Torpy until her death two months and nine days ago, since that time 
he has lived at Ionia where he died of heart disease.

The funeral was held at the Sebewa Baptist church Sunday afternoon and burial 
was in the cemetery there.  Rev. E. G. Lyons preached the sermon.

He leaves a brother Willis Torpy of Milford, Mich.
