Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Sept. 15, 1955

TIRSO TORRES DIED SATURDAY
Tirso Torres 68, passed away Saturday forenoon at his home near Clarksville after a
short illness. He had been a resident here four months, coming here from Batesville,
Texas.

Surviving are his wife, Inosente, three sons, Santiago, Jose and Inaco, and two
daughters, Merse and Josefa, all of the clarksville area.

Friends recited the Rosary Sunday evening at 8 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services were held Monday at 9:30 at the Pickens chapel and 10 a.m. at the
St. Edwards church with burial in lakeside cemetery, the Rev. Fr. Stephen Kolenic
officiated.
