Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. March 21, 1957

VISCENTA TORRES DIED SATURDAY
Viscenta Torres 62, passed away early Saturday morning at Pennock Hospital where she
had been a patient for two weeks.

She was born in Mexico, June 1894 and had been a resident here for several years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Vasques and Merse Torres and three sons,
Joe, Ignico and Jim all of lake Odessa.

Her husband Tirso passed away about a year ago.

Funeral services were held Monday at 8:30 at the Pickens Funeral Home and at 9:00
a.m. at the St. Edwards church with burial in lakeside cemetery. Rev. Fr. Joseph Dunphy 
officiated.
