The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 16, 1965

James Arthur Torrey, 90, died Sunday at a Muir rest home where he had lived 
for some time.  He was born August 21, 1874, son of George and Alice Torrey of 
Flushing.  He was married to Olive Hill in 1904 and had lived in Muir area 
since 1914 and was a farm laborer for several years.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shaw Rivett funeral home 
with burial in Muir cemetery.
