LAKE ODESSA - Mrs. Katie Torrey died today at her home at 812 Sixth Ave. She 
was a lifelong resident of this area.

Mrs. Torrey was a member of First Congregational Church and its Women's 
Fellowship, Merry Social Club, Jolly Dozen Club and Hospital Guild 41.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn; four sons, Charles of Mecosta, 
Chalmer and Clair of Jackson and Cecil of Lake Odessa; a daughter, Mrs. 
Irven Burgess of Portland; three brothers, Dewey Brooks of Lake Odessa, 
Charles Brooks of Woodland and John Brooks of Okemos; a sister, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Studt of Lake Odessa; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pickens Funeral Chapel with burial 
in Lakeside Cemetery.
