Uncle Jimmy Tosh, who has made Pewamo his home for the past forty years, was called to the great beyond last Friday morning, death being due from old age. He had been in poor health for some time and his demise was not altogether unexpected. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the M.E. church, being conducted by the Rev. W. W. Hurd. Holly. Jas. and Ellen were members of the United Presbyterian church of Pewamo and were staunch supporters of the work. Mr. Tosh became a member of Lyons Lodge No. 37, F.&A.M. in 1874 and attained the degree of Royal Arch Mason in 1884. At the institution of Pewamo Lodge, No. 405, F.&A.M. in 1892 he withdrew from the Lyons lodge and joined the local lodge as a charter member, being identified with that order until his death. For the last twenty-four years he has lived at (rest of article torn off).
