Carl W. Tousignaut Sr., 60, Belding, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997, at his
residence.  He was born Feb. 10, 1937, in Marion to Wilfred and Maud McComb
Tousignaut.  He was employed at Rapistan in Grand Rapids for 20 years and
formerly owned and operated C.W.T. Intermediate Care Services in Belding for 25
years.

He is survived by his children, Bettina and David Nuechterlein of Longmont,
Colo., Samuel and Jenny Tousignaut of Vandalia, Ohio, Casey and Cindy Tousignaut
of Belding, Joseph Tousignaut of Rensselaer, Ind.; five grandchildren; one
sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and David Grief of Marion; one brother and
sister-in-law, Jack and Pat Tousignaut of Ada.  He was preceded in death by his
parents and one sister, Irma Britton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home,
Belding, with the Rev. Jake Jacobson officiating.  Interment will be in Rest
Haven Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral
home.  Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Services-Hospice.
