Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 May 1971

Rev. Charles Fullmer officiated at funeral services Wednesday at First United 
Methodist church for John Toutenhoofd.  Organist was Mrs. Margaret Fullmer,  
Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Bearers were Charles A. Brown, Max 
Pierce, Fred George, Roy Weber, Carl Gasper and Alan Green.  Members of Mrs. C.B. 
Morall’s Sunday school class and Order of Eastern Star attended in a group.  
Following services they acted as an honor guard.  Mrs. Janet Jennings was in 
charge of flowers.
