Portland – Funeral services for Elton K. Tower, 65, of 348 Elm street, were 
Monday morning from the Neller funeral home with Rev. Father Donald Weber 
officiating.  Mr. Tower died Friday at a Lansing hospital.  He was born 
September 2, 1912 in Lostant, Illinois, the son of Ward and Alice Kiely Tower.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; one daughter, Elaine Given of Lansing; three 
grandchildren; one brother, Merle Tower of Detroit and one sister, Mrs. Marion 
Moynihan of Lapeer.

Burial was in Portland cemetery.
