Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Nov. 22, 1937

Funeral services for Mrs. Gene Towe4r, wife of Fred A. Tower, were held 
Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the residence, 240 Lafayette street, 
conducted by Rev. Earl Kneebone, rector of St. Johns Episcopal church. Burial 
was at Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Tower’s death occurred early Thursday 
morning.

In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Adah Owsley and Mrs. Margaret Webber. 
Bearers were William Serrin, K.R. Smith, William B. Heath and Herbert S. V. 
Cooper. 

Among those from away here to attend the service were Mr. and Mrs. W. B. 
Carpenter of Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin; Grosvernor Wright of Detroit, and Mr. and 
Mrs. Lemuel Holbrock of Grand Rapids.
