Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, Jan. 11, 1964

Frederick K. Tower, 66, was found dead at his home 112 West Washington 
street Friday afternoon by a neighbor and telephone repairman. Investigating 
officers reported the repairman had summoned a neighbor when he did not get 
an answer at the Tower home.

Mr. Tower was born November 8, 1897, the son of Fred A. and Omogene King 
Tower, and has lived his entire life in Ionia.

He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting in Hawaii, Philippines and 
Alaska.

He is survived by a cousin, Osmond Jamerson of Richmond, Va.

Funeral service will be Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Boynton funeral home with the 
Rev. Wilfred G. Sawyier officiating and interment at Highland Park cemetery.
