The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 26, 1889
Ada B. Tower, the eldest daughter of Angelo E. and Abbie L. Tower, died 
Saturday evening at her home in this city, aged 28 years.  She had been in 
delicate health for some years, and during the past two years has spent 
considerable of her time in Colorado in the hope that the bracing mountain air 
of that state would be beneficial to her.  But every effort proving 
unavailing, she was brought home last June to finally pass peacefully away to 
her eternal rest, as above stated.  The funeral services were held at the 
residence on Washington street Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. S. 
Large, acting rector of St. John’s Episcopal church.
