The Portland Review & Observer, April 13, 2008

Wm. George Townley, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008.  He was 
born on May 21, 1940 in Curtis, MI the son of William James and Edna (Griffin) 
Townley.  George was a nice and friendly outgoing person. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Francis Trowbridge. 
Surviving are his siblings, Agnes Trowbridge of Portland, Margaret Carll of 
Paris, Michigan and John Townley of Curtis, MI; several nieces and nephews. 

The Funeral Service was held April 11 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 
Portland with interment following at North Eagle Cemetery, Eagle.
